there is no (pdf) manual at all for coronaC4D ?

most things are easy, but for the render settings some explanations would help!

Sorry for bringing an old topic up but.. I can't even a find a proper PDF documentation for max, let alone C4D. Isn't there a good old manual where each feature of the software is listed and described? I don't see too much of an order in the knowledge base's answer/question scheme. I hope it's just me having troubles finding the link. Can anyone hook me up with an URL please?

There is no PDF manual for Max either (for the same reasons, that it would be needing continual updates with the speed at which Corona changes). The YouTube channel with the tutorials is the main educational resource that we've focused on, along with the Helpdesk, and then the forum here for any specific questions - and in Max, the tooltips provide most of the required information too.

hm to me that is a more a faq/tutorial than a manual.
hope we get a proper manual somewhen

I think what people most want is a standard categorized documentation.
Materials, render settings etc. with their corresponding hierarchies.
All other engines have that in pretty much the same way...even Renderman.

The helpdesk is what the name suggests, just a platform for specific problems, not a documentation. The reliance on the search engine is suboptimal when you want just to look up a simple thing. Not to mention the obsolete entries.
