I think I did it in the screenshot.  It's either 0 (black) or 0.5 (grey).  Tried making a new velocity pass and it's still grey.  Getting annoying now :)

Impossible to say unfortunately without seeing the settings, the resulting passes, or best of all, seeing the scene. If the scene can't be shared publicly, can use the private uploader to send it direct to us, see info on https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000524006-how-to-report-issues-3ds-max

Ok, thanks.  I'll do this tonight.

I won't bother sending the whole scene but will send anything important

There seems to be something there....putting the multiplier up to 1000 gives a messed up version of what I'm expecting

Perfect, thanks! The trimmed down scenes are always best - often it can let you share scenes that you can't share in full, and from our side it also focuses down on the problem and leaves less to investigate, so ty for that!

Ahhhhh, I've found the cause...... The camera is moving too slow.

I've tested speeding up the camera and I'm getting a more colourful velocity pass.

We're doing a timelapse kind a animation for a client.

Here is the first test I did and I got good results.  I was happy :)

I didn't expect this headache today.

In my scene, the camera is moving slow but the Anima characters are sped up 2000% (same as the one above)

Any ideas how I can do this for this shot.  I need the people to be whizzing through my scene (with the same trails as the video above).

I'll try the world setting in the velocity pass.  The fact that it's set to camera should have sounded warning bells in my head.

The fact that Anima characters aren't actually animated in the scene, might also be an issue.  They seem to be getting their pass colouring from the camera.  I animated a cube and that's giving a brighter colour
