Did this last night, using a scene from my archviz course.
The scene is originally intended for V-Ray, and I converted all materials to Corona using the scripted converter (which works great, btw). Did not mess too much with the settings, just a sun and sky.
First things I noticed about Corona (and really liked):
- proxy system is great, specially the point cloud display
- Corona_Scatter, where have you been all my life?
- Fast, fast, fast (this render cleared up in about 10 minutes)
- Being a V-Ray guy, I miss the physical camera workflow... :-(
- Still getting used to the outcome, which I found to be a little more washed out than usual (using LWF, of course).
Anyway, after my first couple hours with Corona I'm really liking it and looking forward to the next updates.
Great, great job, Ondra!

Actually is it any better in terms of features than default max's scatter object? I think it even needs some more stuff like volume scatter (but I know it's nothing important at current point ;) ).

Don't worry. It's already implemented along with physical light units, works great and needs only a few tweaks, mainly with UI.

You just won the internet for not complaining about it!

maru: built-in scatter may have more features, but it is f***n slow, so I had to write the CoronaScatter ;)

Indeed, Max's native scatter is way too heavy and slow. CoronaScatter is painless!
About the physical camera, I guess I'm too used to having ISO, shutter speed and f-number... ;-)

Hey RickEloy ! Nice to see you're here !  (He's here under my influence and work as Corona Evangelist. ) lol.

The Physical Camera atributes are already implemented as a CameraMod (Modifier to Default 3dsmax camera), on the latest builds (Daily Builds area) :)

Yeah, you really got me into this, Kumodot!
I'll take a look at the modifier (as soon as I get access to the daily builds).
Cheers!
