Hello guys,

I browsed though all forum to know more abour corona DR but couldnt find suitable answer. My question is how to eliminate long scene preloading times on render node?(scene size is arround 800mb + 300mb in textures and proxies) Currently it peaks arround 30min to start rendering . Few facts :

Node specs :
32gb ram
Windows 10
x2 xeon XEON L5640

All connected in lan enviroment

In Dr corona menu i added path to shared lan folder, there we upload full scene with all textures and proxies ( dont know if thats the best aproach)

So my main question remains, what tests i should run to make those getting ready scene times more optimal ?

Thank you very much, hope somebody could help me

Could you provide a screenshot of that "dr corona menu" you mention? I do not know of any option to add any path. Or are you actually talking about standard "Submit to Network Rendering" of Render Setup (which is not Corona DR)?

Good Luck

Yes, detailed explanation of what you are doing exactly (preferably in 1,2,3... steps) would be very helpful.

By "scene preloading times" do you mean parsing when 3ds Max is started and Corona starts rendering, or the time the node spends before the rendering is started at all?
