Hi!

Whenever I try to Team Render, the client consistently fails due to a missing plugin issue (see attachment)
There is nothing in the scene connected to Vray. Rendering locally, everything works fine.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Kind Regards / Alex

Have you checked all your materials ?

A disabled channel with an exotic material plugin may produce troubleshooting.

your problem has a very simple solution..

in order to get TR working on any scene with any renderengine, you need to have all plugins installed on your host - used or not in your current scene - installed on your TR nodes as well...
as soon as you copy/paste all plugins from your host to the corresponding folder on your nodes, TR is working as intended..

so by having vray or any other plugin installed on your host, it has to be on your nodes too

Hi, we were having a similar issue with some VRay remnants in the scene recently and what helped was to delete any VRay-related things manually. For example, check all the render settings and delete the VRay Bridge tab from all of them. This thread that I found might also help you. It's not Corona-related, but it still seems very relevant:

Hope this helps you

Hi Everyone!

T H A N K S ! for all your helpful replies! Sorry for not answering earlier - (I'm a busy man with small kids)

hog0's solution fixed the problem. One simply has to copy ALL plugins from the main machine to the corresponding plugins folder to MAXON > TeamRender Client R18 > plugins folder. In this case, Vray was the culprit. Don't forget to copy the "VrayBridge.key" to the TeamRender Client R18" folder.

Since other people are sure to run into this "head scratching" issue, I've attached some screenshots of the location where to place the above mentioned folders / files.

Cheers / Alex
