I would like to request a HDRI loader similar to vrays.

The main components are 360' angle rotation and ability to set the gamma from the mat editor instead of using max's override in the bitmap loader.

Also controlling the multiplier would be very helpful.

Thanks
Wade

There were some requests for a dedicated environment loader, some additional ideas were vertical rotation (not only horizontal) and some color correction options like kelvin color balance, gamma etc. Maybe it would be even possible to link it to a Corona Sunlight out of the box (for example, you'd open the image viewer, pick the sun and it would automatically place the sun in the correct place and keep it linked to any rotation after that). +1 here!

Just some notes:

-in 1.6 you can rotate the CoronaBitmap node horizontally using degrees
-in 1.6 there are gamma and exposure spinners in the CoronaOutput map + some more controls
-we are thinking of optimizing the further, for example to allow better controls using just one map...
