hi guys,

Sometimes, when i use the render region, the CPU usage is not 100%.  See attachement
And when  i close the render region, back to normal with 100% cpu usage.

An idea ?

Very quickly rendered 5 passes, so adaptivity maybe?

Good Luck

Never underestimate the power of a well placed level one spell.

Can you check if the same thing happens if you render without regions, but in super low resolution, like 100x100px?

dual 2670 here. suffering from the same "issue".
somehow on previous i7's (2600k,4790k) it was on 100% load, i was starting to believe its because of core count..

Everyone with this issue - could you contact us using this form, and provide as much information as possible?
https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new
-what is your CPU?
-which version of Corona are you using?
-Is this happening in any scene, even empty or with one teapot + one light, or only in one specific scene?
-Is it happening in simple/complex scenes only?
