Hi houska!

What exactly are the issues? The only issue I’ve encountered is that it’s too slow to warrant any usefulness.

Kind Regards / Alex

Yes, that's one issue.
Then there's the issue of not being able to use the noise limit for rendering. You can only set frame number or time limit.
Adaptivity also does not work, because it depends on the noise metric. This would need to be fixed in the core.
And someone here on the forums mentioned denoising not working.

So distributed rendering will work correctly only after the core supports that feature?
If so that doesn't leave an optimistic feeling to see distributed rendering will work in the near future.

But so far, GREAT job!

Cheers...

No, only TR with noise limit in C4D will work after changes in Corona Core.
Slow TR will be solved much sooner, because that is a bug.

But noise limit is the key to success...
If that is not working, you can control it by passes or time limit only. In both cases you don't have a guaranteed clean image. It will be guess work in that case.
Sure you can set a time limit in which the probability is really high and you get what you want, but you probably spend more time in rendering as needed.

Did I get it right?

every installed plugin counts for any scene you wanna netrender, tags used or not.. i suggest you copy your vraybridge pluginfolder from your workstation to the correct teamrenderplugin folder on each renderslave - this should get rid of your problem.

Hi hog0,
I got this problem, too, exactly the same error message. I checked for the "VrayBridge" plugins on our C4D TeamRender clients but there are none. Could that be because we are using Vray on our clients as "standalone" and not "workstation-mode" due to the Vray License in 3.7? Has someone an idea how to solve this?
