Hi my peeps! I'm having an issue where transparent materials show as solid in the view port in C4D.  I mean, the cause is obvious (material uses only diffuse, reflection, and refraction layers - and not opacity), but I was wondering if anyone knew of a workaround.

Of course, it renders great! I'm just trying to model some shots through windows, and I'm too lazy to keep toggling the Editor visibility.

Glass material:
Diffuse: V 78.431, Brightness 100%, Mix mode Normal, Mix strength 100%
Reflection: V 78.431, Brightness 100%, Glossiness 1, Anisotropy 0.5, Rotation 0, Fresnel IOR 1.51
Refraction: V 100%, Brightness 100%, Caustic (checked), Glossiness 1, Index of refraction 1.51

Hey wiinter,
How about using the X-Ray option or a new transparent cinema 4D material in a new take?

As I can see the X-Ray option doesn't do anything if the object had Corona material.

The fastest way on this case is to select the transparent material. Under the "Assign" tab select all objects under that material, then on "Visible in Editor" turn it off or vise versa when you don't need the transparent material anymore.I hope this helps!
