Hi guys

Wanna know your tips and opinions on folds modelling . I often see models on design connected that have wrinkles made manually using cut tool and moving edges - while I prefer to do this in zbrush - it gives me greater freedom and flexibility (and also it is much faster) - so the question is - is this some kind of standard to do this inside max or does it have other advantages ?

Thanks

I think it's to obtain a much cleaner geometry and less polygons and you can easily adjust the subdivision numbers. Making wrinkles in ZBrush from my experience requires a high polycount for the result to look good, and after decimation or optimisation the geometry becomes untidy. Personally for me the fastest way is to use marvelous designer albeit the mesh wire looks ugly most of the times.
