Error in .conf file

Hey forum , since I installed the demo I get this message whenever I start Max and when I enter the render settings, as far I could tell it's more of a nuisance than an actual problem, but it would be great if I could get rid of it.
ps I deleted every  *.conf file I could find but still no luck.
