Hello everyone!Newbie Corona user here.
I would like to know if,as in digital photography,  exists in Corona a relationship between ISO and noise level.
As far as I understand (I am not a photographer),  in digital photography, when you increment the ISO, the image will become more noisy, and due to that, the usual recommendation is to keep the ISO between 100-200 whenever possible, and it is recommended to adjust the exposure via f number and shooter speed.
Have we to have the same considerations when we make a render in Corona? Is it better to adjust the exposition mainly with f number and shutter speed?

No. If you turn off DOF/Motion blur (or, rather don't turn them on), ISO/F-Stop/Shutter speed ( and EV factor, and texture multiplier, etc.. ) is basically the same in CGI world.

You can (but again, don't need to) use them to control Depth of Field and Motion blur in same way as real camera would, but that's it.

Thank you Juraj.
So, if you are not using motion blur or DOF...has any sense to use photographic exposure instead simple exposure?

Thank you Juraj.

Nope. Unless you're die-hard photographer purist :- ) Or, you're matching footage ( for example HDRi render to backplate )

I use simple EV for exposure in every case actually. DOF I setup using F-stop separately in Physical camera (so the DOF is the only thing affected by F-stop, exposure is still done using EV factor). And motion blur I setup using simple frame duration value.

Imho it's pretty damn genial this can be done so easily and separately. I can have any DOF and MB without having to re-adjust exposure.

I have fallen in the depths of photographic exposure due to the use of physical camera + cCamMod. I can not get the simple exposure spinner  in the vfb.
I have found a thread that talks about that.

Thank you very much for your help!

Yes, this was very helpful. I didn't realize I can could control DOF without using photographic exposure.
