Can i use metalness maps?
Plugging in a substance metalness into the reflection IOR makes my material look very strange. almost opalescent. Is metalness supported yet?

No, metalness workflow is not suported directly, but you can find dubcat's tutorials on how to convert/export metallness/roughness into specular/glossiness in tutorials board.
