Need help in render speed

What can be cause that my CPU 243   00:03:23   aBaj   Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5820K CPU @ 3.30GHz   Win   3.35   6   12   16   2016-09-24 is slower in Bench scene

3.30 GHz both and nearly one minute faster... What could it be?

maybe this guy overclocked their CPU !? :]

and another thing: the total ram of this, is 32 that's twice of your system's memory amount.

It's just weird for me when i see benches and there is time from 2.18 to 3.40 it is obvious that some are clocked but even with base clock time is different for each other.

The reporting on clocks is off, my 3930K runs at 4.2GHz, overclocked from 3.2, but it reports at 3.2. So the overclocks could lead to quite a difference in speed, depending on how extreme they are, and that may not be visible in the reporting?

:/ I dont know why, but finding the true CPU frequency on windows seems almost impossible unless you want to install your own kernel driver (that is what CPU-Z does AFAIK). We did many iterations and nothing seems to work.

Yep, so many different ways of overclocking - and Windows reports my machine as running at 3.2, so I think it's just a Windows thing.

So i'll try with overclocked. Can i ask what soft are you using to overclocking?

I forget if I changed something in the BIOS too, but I am using AI Suite II "Turbo EVO" (as it's an ASUS board) with a CPU Strap of 125 Mhz and CPU Ratio of 33, with water cooling. Higher OCs are possible, but it got unstable here and I didn't want to get into adjusting the voltages (lack of time :) ) - 4.8 seems to be obtainable with the 3930K, if you took the time for it though. Not sure if doing it all through BIOS could lead to different results than using a Windows based app like the Turbo EVO to apply the OC, either.

Almost every board has some auto-clock feature by now :- ) Like the AiSuite from Asus. If you're beginner, don't sweat it, feel free to press that one button :- ) Pros might sell idea it's not most efficient with voltages, but the argument reminds me of people accusing automatic transmission of being slower. Just try it first.
Regarding potential clocks, don't be swayed by exact number what others might say, this is pure silicon lottery. Same exact chip can have a limit ( defined by stable running at decent voltage) anywhere between 4.2 to 4.9Ghz.
