I tried to search for this but couldn't find the answer, was just wondering if its possible to display opacity directly in viewport, I think with vray it does it automatically for PNG files (I just installed max 2017 so maybe I just need to tick some internal option but can't find it...)

it is possible in corona Mtl, though only in daily builds
