Yes, would be, but I think you need the licences which are difficult or impossible probably to obtain.
RAL, PANTONE or NCS would ask a lot of money for this. But maybe I am wrong...

we will research that, but at least the web hex format (#FF0000) is certain to appear ;)

They're licensed and useful only to particular niche each.

HEX code is universal because all the above provide it. Option to input sRGB/2.2 values is more important.
