Wait, so how was Corona, Phoenix FD, and Vray used? Which one for what? It's a bit hard to understand. :)

Simulation of water with Phoenix FD/ Ship and background with Corona/and water and foam with Vray/after this compositing in After Effect///
It happaned much, much faster in render///
brute force from VRAY is still very slow for rendering object topology changing in animations///
With Corona this much faster and correct///
But I would be very happy to render all scene in Corona render, but in the absence of at least open VDB format support in Corona it's impossible:(

Phoenix 3.0 is out - can you precisely say what is supported in corona of its features and what not?

Thanks:)
 I know about this///
But Corona still not supported Phoenix as it is:(
Phoenix can be used with Corona only with different trick's /etc. exporting geometry to Corona Proxy and particles to PRT. BIN. ABC, openVDB formats or using outsiders plugins, Krakatoa atmospheric effect and
compositing ---for example ///

thank's///
he/he:)
I think it does not matter so much///
The flag and ship exactly rendered with Corona:)
And using environment from other's render engines the same, as using backplates and HDR images from other's image resources:)
And last top short is fully rendered with Corona, where exist only some compositing effect with foam and clouds from Krakatoa Render engine///

hello there very nice work,

i am new in corona and  still try to do same stuff than you !

May i ask you how did you do manage to render properly the vector displacement of the  FD ocean displacement map, I have some problem of direction wave, like if we have to invert  RGB color or trick something to get something correct ? do you work with unit scale meter/meter ?

you manage to get very sharpy wave with large swell,  i guess you manage to blend different displacement map between

I am very interresed by your R and D. if you can help me that would be great !!

Thanks !
