Corona Billboard is an primitive object like as plane that align to the current camera or view or renderview automatically..
This object can be scattered with Coronascatter ...
This is very useful for applying 2D cutout images or video footages ...

Just a quick note if someone really needs this effect: right now it can be done in particle flow using "shape facing" operator, or by manually setting up a plane with "look at" constraint tied to the camera.

this is only for an specific camera ...
for batch rendering with different views does not work ...

Cinema users:
- "Look at camera" tag orients an object towards an Active Camera. You can have any number of cameras staged.
- "Target" tag orients an object towards set Target Object.
All parameters can be animated & controlled with XPresso.


This reminds me, doesn't Max have Creation Graph?  Should be possible to make it happen.

There's a nice free scripted object from Martin Breidt:

Create the object, pick a camera, specify distance to camera. Keep in mind the script needs to be installed on all machines that need to render it.

not planned, quite specific tool that does not really connect to a renderer in any way
