Hello my sweet dudes. i found a plug-in for maya which creates volumetric clouds. Such a powerful feature is not it? is there any chance to corona devs prepare something like this?

Just that it looks like that plugin from OP's link does it on fractal base, while we left at mercy of inferior noise. And in all attempts to render clouds with Corona that i saw (never tried to do it myself), there's always very distinct edge between cloud volume and air, never soft transition like in some examples of that elementacular plugin. Realistic clouds rendered with Corona, yet to be seen.

It's not because we are stuck with inferior noise. It's because corona still doesn't support varying density of volume in 3D space. It's the least voted feature on the feature request poll, btw ;)

EDIT: Not anymore, but it was some time ago :)
