1.    There’s a main machine at the farm. I connect with Vnc. I stop it on an open corona frame buffer screen because there is no need to continue rendering on there. I want it to start the other render in the list.

2.    14 drserver renders. After render finishes there’s no error. When the next render starts sometimes 4 or 5 machine does not close 3dsmax and waits. When I close and open cms screens as shown in the video, it starts the new render. But at the background there remains two max open. I mean max does not resart for the new work.

3.    In every option drservers should definitely reset.

A-   When clicked on Stop

B-   When cancelled on backburner.

C-   When render passes completed.

4.    I get no error warnings. Drserver says it is waiting for the new render. But the new render does not reach to the machine where the drserver is. 4 render finishes and sometimes I have no error and sometimes when the second render finishes I get an error.

5.    You can see them on the screenshots I sent you. This happens all the time. Havent you ever seen such problem? I have this problem when/if at the corona frame buffer screen dr part on the main machine cannot connect. The number shown at the top keeps increasing. Therefore I cannot check if 14 machines are connected or not.

6.    All the machines are slave. Corona drserver works on all. I send through backburner.

7.    I use 1.4 version both corona and drservers.

I think it is because of the scene. Probably to do with drserver.

Check my attachment pls.Render is finished but 3dsmax is still running. When ı closed the cmd screen.New render is proccesing. Its like a russian rouloutte.

ANY BACKBURNER USER ?

In order to make a fresh start and sort out the problem completely.

I uninstalled max in every slave machine and updated windows.

At the moment I am testing 10k back to back and there seems to be no problems. Corona renders very good. You can close this thread.

Thanks for the marcin.

Bye until the next problem J

That's really great! So it looks like it wasn't a Corona or Backburner issue after all.

Can you tell us what exactly you did? This could be very important for other users who are experiencing this. Did you:

-uninstall Max on all PCs
-then updated Windows on all PCs
-then installed Max again on all PCs
?

We would be very grateful for an answer!

That’s why there’s nothing I can say. There are 20 machines. I made a fresh start because it was not possible to find out which one was causing the problem.

I chose 4 machines to test. I updated the windows first. Then I uninstalled max and plug ins and reinstalled.

Maybe only updating would be fine I don’t know. Then I did the same with other machines.

I did not have time to do each one by one, to update windows first and test, install max and then test. So I did them at once and made a fresh start.

And the result is fantastic. J I tested multiscatter multitexture proxy at maximum levels and there’s been no problems so far.

Both backburner and corona work fine.

Anyone having such problems, first update windows (I use windows 7) and then reinstall max and corona. Problems fixed.

Oh, so it was probably a matter of updating Windows indeed.
