Short version: Enable "Thin (no refraction)" in your glass material.

There will be a kind of fix for this in Corona 1.5

Good Luck!

Is there a glass somewhere between a sun and your sofa model? If yes, then it's a known bug: https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,6883 There are several workarounds to this problem: https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,6883 The bug will be fixed in v1.5. In fact it is already fixed in daily builds. If you're comfortable enough to try dailies, go ahead and install latest build, then you should be able to render that same scene without bugs and any workarounds needed.
