Hi guys

I have started playing around with a demo 1.4 and I have played around with an older ver demo in the past - I am sure there used to be an option to have IR render safe frames or viewport, I can only now seem to IR with safe frames on in VP.

Is there a way (surely) to turn switch between IR/SF and IR/VP?

IR/SF is great for reviewing scene comp through camera etc - but IR/VP is essential to texture models.

I have tried finding answer in forums and no luck - sorry if already answered.

Thanks

Unfortunately there isn't  the way to turn off safe frame respect in IR. Safe frame toggle in IR is already requested several times and hopefully it will be implemented at some time.

Hi. No, unfortunately there's no way to turn safe frame off in IR, and there were non either in older versions. But back in alpha versions IR was always showing the full viewport - with no option to turn safe frame on, except from doing a Render.

I too would like the option to use IR with and without SF, and a simple way to do it could be, that IR always followed the viewport setting. Meaning: if SF is on in the viewport, then SF is on in IR, and if SF is off in the viewport, then SF is off in IR.

Hope this will be implemented some time :)

Edit: beaten by romullus :) But basically the same answer.

Thanks for your reply guys. A bit disappointing as not a complex component/feature to implement  - it was originally there (IR/VP) -  but to take it away?

My workaround after spending quite honestly a couple of hours trying to work out where the button was (to toggle between - originally thinking a bug), is simply having to change output resolution in render settings when using IR in viewport to a value that matches VP aspect, then revert back to actual aspect/output resolution for camera/production...what a pain.

Please fix it Corona team please (yes, I think it is a fix). Other than that looking great.
