Sooooo finaly i had some time to finish this up.

Idea was to test out two things. Capability of corona usage for artistic kind of stuff and my capability to copy images from handrawn scetches to 3d.

And here is the result. In total it was about 2 days of work.

By the way final render is only 7 pases with further denoising in photoshop.

Enjoy and C&C are welcome.

PS - I am attaching cloud model with texture so you can use it any way you want.

Cool, it reminds me of Abe's Oddysee!

btw that game was a masterpiece, also the CG cutscenes, especially noting that it was all done in 1997.

...but what are those black splotches in the clouds?

I belive those artifacts produced by incerting displacement on the clouds. Could not figure out method to avoid it.

By the way there is mesh of this clouds with texture. You can play around with it if you want )

Overall it looks really really nice :)

But those black areas looks like geometry on those smaller parts of the could gets displaced through itself, like inside out and we are seeing normals from inside that's why it is black...? Does it appear if you turn off displacement?

I just cheked it is not only displacement. Yes the black spots are caused by displacement BUT it is because the melt modified fucked things up and i haven not even tryed to fix it by welding.

I belive i will reupload model. XD

PS - it worked.

UPD - Updated version above, and updated link for the cloud.
