Very nice attempt. Nicely detailed. But in the same time, it's a good example how bad BG choise makes render unreal.

In such a situations I would recommend using 3D geometry in BG. It's crucial thing, which cuts down realism in your renders. And it takes great amount of your picture! You composed it in photoshop? That exposure looks bit strange for me, its more like gamma adjusted, not exposure. There is very clear light direction in interior, but BG image does not have it. And it makes a feeling thats something is not ok here.

All other – really well.

Hi!

Thanks for the comment. The grass and hedge in background are all models. Indeed I have selectively adjusted curves for the hedge making it more contrasty and brighter in comparison to what it was. I will think it through and check how it "feels" without those curves applied. In couple of hours I will post an image.

Cheers.

The background lacks depth. I wouldn't tell it's 3d if you wouldn't say so. In fact, i wouldn't tell what that thing is at all, to me it looks like some seaweeds or giant moss. Not a thing, i would like to see in my backyard :]

All right then. You know the thing, so couple tests would do a trick I think.

Trying vegation with smaller leaves might help. And I would give more attention to materials:  corona two sided and color variety for different leaves. Braches diffuse looks bit too white also

Hi chartensimage, I second what the others have said. The vegetation behind the windows look flat. For the first image, at first glance, one might think it was a picture on the wall. Secondly, the choice of vegetation you have chosen might not be the best for composition purposes because it is chaotic and very busy, drawing the eye away from the interior.

If you still want to keep the tree/hedges design you have, I would suggest not piling all of them together. Another thing might be the leaves being too big.Look at some references to get some fresh ideas how vegetation or trees look outside from interiors.

Other than that, the interior render is really good.
