Hi, I've just installed Corona 1.4 (final released version).
I'm using 3dsMax 2016, everything still ok with the old version 1.3, but after I installed 1.4, I keep getting error code 126 as the attachements show below.
All other PCs in my company have no problem after switched to 1.4, (Max 2016), only mine.
Please help me!

Thanks & Regards,

Have you tried 2. (uninstall first, then reinstall) ?

Good Luck

I had to do some stuff to get my Windows Update up and running again, but that aside uninstalling and then reinstalling EVERY MSVC++ did the trick.

Starting to get fed up with this.
I took my farm comps out from our company LAN, VNC´d everyone to get those windows updates going.
It took a long time. Then several repeats to verify all of them have the latest updates.
Then I remove all of the Microsoft C++ things like the guide says. From all the farm computers, manually via VNC.
Then I install all the C++ things like in the guide, manually to all.
Restart - Install Corona 1.4.
Start 3dsmax. Not work.
Weekend is the perfect time to try to make these work.

Feeling right now is: Next weeks "work" at work when I should be doing work, is Format C: /s on all farm comps.
Then 3dsmax and 1.3
Good thing there is only one client waiting for their renderings right now.

So what was the solution in the end? Was this a problem with 3ds Max not working after a Windows update, unrelated to Corona?

On my main xeon, formatted last friday, I installed windows, Corona1.4, errors, win7 sp1, then ran updates then removed the c++ packs.
Then it gave me some cppunit_dll.dll missing and after that I had my meltdown. (then got a lot beer, consumed them and saw a movie)
Today I took my workstation c:\prog..\autodesk-folder and copied that to my 1st xeon, bam it worked.
Step two, copied the same folder to our 2nd and 3rd xeon. Works.
My main workstation gets the lic via internet and xeons123 connect to the licserver (that to the internets) and it gives 1.4 to them.

It works, the installation method is far from perfect but. I iz happy and all comps render DR and with denoising I dont have to let them
render so long anymore.
