Hello guys

I found a problem with a camera movement when animated and rendered in Corona. Only in Corona.

I prepared a GIF to demonstrate the shaking.

I did the same render in Physical Renderer and in Corona Renderer, and the problem is evident only in Corona.
Attached the scene files (Physical and Corona)

What happens?
Thanks

Version: A4.1 (core 1.4 )
Cinema version: CINEMA 4D Studio R16.050 S

Same happens in A5. Smells like a bug.

Already commented of fb - I remember something very similar in 3ds Max version long time ago and it was fixed. Maybe a similar fix applies here...

Hi Ondra, I set for 3 passes, just to have a fast rendering.

just to make sure this is not the problem, can you make a corona sequence with maybe 16 passes? (you can lower GI/AA balance)

I did a lots of tests, including another configurations and more passes before to decide posting here. Actually I discovered this problem in a final render of a commissioned job, which I did with a lot of more quality.
So, this is a real problem.
Tks

I'm not saying it isnt, I'm trying to determine the cause, and low amount of passes + some random number generators could actually cause similar problems. If this happened in final quality rendering then there is probably another cause

Hi Ondra, here is another test, 16 passes, with no cloner, just a cube converted in mesh

60 passes here (but we have tried different number of passes too), camera is still shaking. So we have baked camera but the problem stays the same.

Got the same problem. Happend in two scenes with relatively big world measures (mountain & city from above).

Don't want to complicate anything but only to leave my old experience with something similar years ago.

I was using mental ray and I had the same problem, solution? Change the decimal separator in Windows from "," to "."
Crazy I know but was a bug in 3ds Max those days...

A test version of the upcoming Alpha 6.2 is available, which should fix the "shaking camera" bug - please test, if all is good, the download page will be updated to this version. For now, links to the download are on the forum post at https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,14938

Hi,

this should be already fixed. Could someone test the latest version (https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,15419.0.html) and confirm it works?

Thank you

I think we can close this. No complaints recently and we tested the scenes ourselves.
