Corona Renderer Alpha 5.
Model that I modeled in 2011. V2. Materials are new for testing-rendering in Corona. (I ain't good at materials).
Rend 2, maybe 4 hours on i7 920 at 3840x2880. Corona DOF (slight), Corona Proxy. No Post, this is RAW render!

(the Instagram image I deleted from existence)

The instagram crossprocessing look does not really work well with simple studio renders. I would focus on nice and clean high contrast detail shots rather than funky postprocessing :)

yeah, I dont like these images! you are right, rawa! I hate instagram, and then I go do one.
Materials was a nightmare for me in Corona. I crushed image to much in PS. I dont know, I might rework-render proper!

I modeled all in 3ds max.

Doesn't  brake disks should be sharp?

Nice modeling skills! I like this type of lighting on bike, as it reveals all details and forms.
Keep it up!

only after you do some braking, before they look roughly like the image ;)
Rendering is magic. How to get minidumps for crashed/frozen 3ds Max | Sorry for short replies, brief responses = more time to develop Corona ;)

I don't think so ? ;- ) I have yet to see any discs (Shimano, Avid, Hope, or any aftermarket) that would contain bevel on metallic part. This one thing throws it off, it should very sharp.

Otherwise cool. Did you make up all the parts ? Can't really recognise any design :- )

Its my design. all the parts are mixmash from my bicycle (which is totally nothing like this), and other images from the web!
About the sharpness of the brake disk, I dont get what specifically you mean?

Nevermind :- ) It's just over-beveled (edges). I did some search, and found out, few discs feature slight bevel on outer edges (like Hope proII) but 95perc. do not. My Shimano XT are completely sharp on metallic part.
