Hi,

I have a question regarding Ambient Occlusion.
I know how to add this as a separate layer (by adding Corona AO material with render element CTexmap).
but:
Is there any possibility to render Ambient Occlusion directly into Beauty pass (in one screen) without creating addition CTexmap layer?

None I could think of. How would you overlay it? With what blending mode?

I don´t know what your are aiming for but you could do it by multiplying your diffuse with AO:
Put CoronaMix in diffuse slot, as base layer  use your previous map/color of the material, as top layer use CoronaAO. Set "Mix Operation" to "Multiply".

But:

- It´s fake (yes, sometimes we want that ;)
- It requires changing every material
- It´s not possible to mask AO with direct light so it looks wrong in direct lit areas

But depending on your needs this may be some option for you.

Good Luck!

Never underestimate the power of a well placed level one spell.

And it's highly impractical. Not only it takes much more time to set up compared to AO as render element, but also that is destructive workflow - you can't tweak it once it's baked.

Why would you do that? I see no reason for Baking the AO in the final Image. (just for my personal interest)
