Hi,

we are looking for scenes containing more than 255 lights. Such scenes currently cause problems to Corona and we are working on solution right now. Therefore any scene we could test our fix on is highly welcome. Do you have any?

More lights performance is a main feature of the 1.4 update: https://trello.com/c/QFA5vbm0/39-speedup-better-performance-with-many-lights

Other than that, there was a video posted in the gallery of an external commercial render in dubai I think. They showed of a script they made to group lights to get around that problem, but I can't find the post, maybe someone is kind enough to post it. As far as I recall, they posted that script.

Here is the related thread, long discussion, that ended on the notion of grouping lights into an one object of close proximity can help to trigger an algorithm, that was implemented and is only avalible in the daily builds, to render 255+ lights faster. Complete rewrite of the many lights problem will be done in the official 1.4 release. May be worth a read for details.

Other then that, good luck finding a scene.

So no one? :) There were a quite few people vocal about this, yet now, no one seems like they want the fix to make it in 1.4 :)
