Hi all, i m start to working in several sofa and chair products, this is one my first test, please comment to help me achieve more realistic image, i didnt put more wrinkles and folds at this moment because i want a more clean, catalogue image but photorealistic.

I am starting to think that even when we are dealing with "flat" furniture everything needs a little bit of a puffy feel - even if just a little bit.

I'd suggest trying to soften it up just a little bit (I presume it is one of those "hard" edged pieces), possibly by sculpting it just a tad bit so that the lines aren't sooo perfect.

Materials wise, maybe you could play around with introducing some sort of a reflection to it by faking it with the falloff map in the diffuse channel. Also, the current wrinkles look a bit flat, maybe make those with a displacement map.
