Hello guys!

Is it a bug or the Corona doesn't support the shader Normalizer?

Thanks

Hi, sorry for a late answer - you should use Corona Normal shader for this.

Hi, sorry for a late answer - you should use Corona Normal shader for this.

Hi maru, thanks for answer.

I'm trying to use cinema 4D's procedurals as normal map, like layer shader, noise, etc because I believe the normal map best interprets the reliefs.

So if I put a single noise in Corona Normal shader, it doesn't works because normal map uses RGB information, not black and white.

Thanks

I think it works fine if you nest the Normalizer inside Corona Normal. I managed to get it working with a noise map, but not with an image... (remember you need to set "space" to UVW to make it work)

ok, using UV Space, Normalizer works. Thanks.

But I'm noticing a problem in Phong tag. Did you notice that?

Thanks for the tip Maru, that works well.

I've found images seem to work OK but you have to crank up the strength and play with the  filter within the C4D normaliser.
