Hello guys, how are you?

I am experiencing a strange behavior in displacement.

There is a region with blur in displacement, and this happens depending on the camera angle.

Technically speaking, it seems to be a problem involving the incidence angle of the camera rays and the angle of the normal vector. The rendering is calculating an inappropriately subdivision in these conflict regions.

Below the example of the problem, which can be reproduced. File (attached).

Step by step to reproduce the bug:

• Create cylinder with standard corona materials and Displacement with Cell Noise, Global Scale: 50%
• Create camera with PSR = 0 and then adjust position Z = -200
• Create Null object PSR = 0 and place the camera as a child
• Duplicate the Null object with camera and rotate P = 20
• Illuminate the cylinder with a light on top, near to the surface to generate a contrast lighting
• Rendering to picture viewer with both cameras and compare the difference in defective subdivision of displacement
