I haven't had a problem with the converter for a long time now, but now it crashes my entire scene when converting 2 sigershaders materials :S

Anything I could do to prevent this? It's not a heavy scene (yet), so that shouldn't be the problem.

May be there is sth wrong with this two mtls. Have you tryed to convert them in the blank scene?

Well, it shouldn't be able to crash your scene but with max... you never know ;)
If you can send me a scene which crashes I can have a look and try to find the problem :)
Any sufficiently advanced bug is indistinguishable from a feature.

I think I found the problem, its the architectural model - it makes the entire scene choppy, and "lags" whenever I select or apply something to an object. I blame the architect -.-
