Crashing during rendering - while trying to access viewport

Hi i figured that my 3dsmax2014 design is crashing during an active render processing.

it happens when accessing the viewport or any other 3dsmax ui other than the rendersetting panel or the VFB.

i like that you can change camera settings during the render process, but accidently tried to move middlemouseclick in the viewport area. then whole max is not responding anymore.
