i basically set batch render in 3ds max up and left it to render based on a time limit, i saves all the other render elements out correct but not the beauty, is there something extra to do that i missed? i have been using batch render for years but first time with corona

It should work fine, however I remember some similar cases. I will look for a solution, but please tell me:
-in what file format are you saving the beauty and other elements?
-can you try removing all elements and then re-adding them, and also re-adding the path to the beauty output?

AFAIK there is a bug in 3ds Max and HDRs saved with specific settings are broken. Could you revert to the settings which you used previously and try with a different renderer? (even scanline)

You cannot resume from a "regular" exr. Here is why: https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000501975
