3ds max 2015. Corona 1.3
Can you reproduce this?
If you got a pretty long(sorry for not being precise in this) RE-name, Max will crash, when you fire up a Corona render.

have you tried other renderers? I am 99% sure that any similar error will be caused by 3ds Max...

 Is this one of those vintage never-fixed-Max-bugs?

never heard of it, but from what I've seen sometimes in '90 somebody said "lets do it simple by doing maximum length of X" and nobody bothered to fix it afterwards
