DEL key not working 3Ds Max

This isn't really a corona question, but I love how fast I get a response on these forums (is that "illegal") - anyways:

My delete key doesn't work in 3Ds Max, and I can't delete anything. I have two keyboards and it doesn't seem to work on either one of them....

Any ideas?

Does the key work in any other app (notepad)?

Works in everything else :S

And it applies to everything in MAX, can't delete anything... Tried the "keybind" aswell, didn't work.

It may be a crappy solution, but if you are desperate, my idea would be to reset user settings (remember to make backup first!).

I fixed it! Had to bind a random key to "Delete Selected" and save it (still couldn't delete anything), then I had to reset the UI to it's original state - voila!

Or,

In .kbdx file from the workspace files,
add this line <shortcut fVirt="3" accleleratorKey="46" actionID="40020" actionTableID="0" />
or replace 45 with 46 if you already have the line but with 45 instead 46

This worked for me!
