Hi,

I´d like to share my first scene rendered with corona. Nothing fancy though but I already love the way corona works!

Nice you made it here :)
Good start, the texture of the bread rolls looks a bit awkward though...
How long did it render?

Hi,

and thanks for the comments! The rolls are Semmel but you´re still right. Somehow all colors got shifted after uploading the picture to the forum from red to green :-/ Render time was about 20 mins with PT+HD.
And I noticed that all materials converted by your awesome converter-script (thanks a ton for it btw:-) still needs to be fine tuned. Right now I´m just fiddling around a lot with corona to find the best settings for my needs.

Hi,

another test with corona. It´s starting to be fun!
The only thing I can´t figure out is the reflection/refraction-error at the end of the stairs. The floor there is far darker, as you can see. If I remove the glass panels framing the stairs everything looks fine. Kinda strange...

Anyway...I still hope you like it :-)

Nice shot the first one, great texturing and i love the way the light works in the scene, even with the "curtain" on the window. How do you get that effect?

I'm having quite a few problems with making the curtain be able to let so much light inside the room, and still be able to get that very little "see-through" feeling in the curtain material...

It´s about time to post some more tests with corona....

Condensate and water drops via shader-only

Pushing coronas scatter-engine to the limit. Over 17 mio. grass-blades plus a few mio. leaves and corona took just 7 seconds for precomp and a little over 4.5GB of ram.

Early WIP-scene

Till next time!
