Hello Corona team!

I know, you are already aware of these, but i'm just keeping up the pressure in a friendly way and with the goal of making corona even more awesome.

1. '2d displacement' or 'raytraced displacement'. We really struggle without it. In vray, i almost never used 3d displacement. For Arch Viz, i would say 2d displacement is way more important than 3d displacement.

2. More than 255 lights.

3. Some way of rendering out stereo panoramas, preferrably as a 6x1 cube map

I'm also aware you are all busy porting to other platforms now. We'll probably need to switch back to vray for commercial projects having tried to adopt corona, but really would prefer using corona so keep up the good work and keep making corona better!

hi peter,
I hope you will be glad to learn that we have solved #2 already internally and we are hoping to release it in daily builds soon ;). The other two... they are doable, just give us some time ;)

Great news. Looking forward to the 2D displacement implementation when it comes. It works really well in vray and is fast to calculate, but does still eat ram. The current corona displacement can take ages to pre calc. Was waiting for 15mins on my last project before the initial pass started and even then that was only at 1.5px setting and there was still some wobbliness going on.

Thumbs up!

Im really glad #2 and #3 are being implemented, congrats!

I would also add some kind of triplanar or similar mapping in the list :)
