Suddenly got an error saying "geometry object with zero scale will be ignored" for all of my forest pack grasses, it spams me with error messages in the corona error window while rendering and it spams so much that it causes the PC to slow down ALOT. I clicked ignore similar messages and the workstation now renders the scene fine but the nodes on DR crash trying to render the grass, i can only assume the same thing is happening on their end but theres nothing I can click on in the DR window to stop it.

Why is this happening? everything has a scale of 100. nothing has been scaled, just imported like normal from forest pack.

It's the template FPP files - i.e. the temporary fully flat "three planes", "two planes" objects. They are probably not frozen/hidden, so are being picked up by Corona. Solution is to make sure they are.

Yes, it's caused by objects from forest templates. You can select them by layer forest_templates and simply delete that objects. At least in my cases it always was OK.

Just one note :)
This simple way is OK if you didn't use built-in libraries. If you used one of them you have to delete only objects with 0 scale. They are located in center of coordinate system and look like on attached picture if you scale them up. 3D objects used in libraries belong to the same layer, but they are in normal scale

Hey, thanks. I think I found these but when I deleted them they came back some how. I'll just keep an eye out for them.

This never used to happen with presets or my own created presets, not sure what I have changed to get these now.

Hm.. You are right, every time I touch ForestPack objects with active modify tab it recreates those template objects. It seems to me that they have to have object properties set to By Layer in Rendering Control area of Object Properties dialog, but ForestPack creates them with properties set to By Object even if in Max's preferences you set Default to By Layer for new nodes in Layer Defaults area.
I think it's better to make request to iToo Softwere to change it in ForestPack 5
