I was wondering if it were possible to name the xref files in the Corona Error Message board when it states stuff like "Normal map gamma incorrect". The majority of my projects render from output files that just have the cameras and lights in them. So I have to go through 6 or so separate xrefed files to fix the problem.

Hi,
the names are present in Corona 1.3. Let me know if it does not work:

Hmmm, I don't seem to get that.

The first Map is from an xrefed material, the second is from an xrefed scene. Trying to select the offending object doesn't do anything.

All I can think of that is different to your example is that the xrefs are on networked drives? We're using UNC paths.

Is it xrefed scene or xreffed object? It seems to be working here for xref scene, and object should be selectable even though it is xref. Maybe can you send me the scene?

Map #2099 is from an xref material via an object (that is not in the scene), the second is from an object that is part a whole xref scene.

Neither is selectable :(

I'll try to make a couple of test scenes I can upload.

Here is setup. If you open the Render File and hit render you get the Error Messages like I posted. It xrefs the whole scene of the file "Xref Scene". Within "Xref Scene" one of the cylinders has a local material with a problem normal map, the other has an xref material from the file "Xref Material" which has a problem normal map.

I tried your scene and Corona properly informs that the material is part of XRef scene and hence is not selectable

Yah this seems to work with 2016, when I first posted this we were using 2014. So all good!
