and all of a sudden when i converted one material that was a vray material from 888 fresnel to 50 i dont see the issue so much, hmmm, idk, the converter is not converting the vray materials properly

I don't really understand the issue here, can you elaborate on this? A before/after of the material would help to find out if there really is a problem.
Any sufficiently advanced bug is indistinguishable from a feature.

I don't really understand the issue here, can you elaborate on this? A before/after of the material would help to find out if there really is a problem.

sorry i didnt see this,here is what it was, i had a light inside a mesh lamp but no glass etc and not touching the sides, but the material of the lamp around the light had 999 fresnel, it was a vray converted model, when i investigated and found that i changed it to 50 fresnel ior and since then i have not seen the issue, here is a image showing the setup

Unfortunately many Vray materials comes without fresnel reflections enabled. Those are converted to IOR 999 in Corona, unless you specify other value.

yeah i see but even when i set it to covert to fresnel 30, it leaves it at 999

now it worked? am wondering if the issue is because i converted a tonne of materials at once and this one fell through the cracks, i just don't know, i doubt now i will be able to get you a file. i will make a note of this to send a report if it happens on my next project

Thanks for the experimental options screenshot. Everything seems to be ok. I just wanted to check something as I had similar problem some time ago. Can be ignored. :)
