I don't know if this is really a bug problem, but I think is not correct.

Hi. I think there's was an older post about egg shaped material spheres, and IIRC there was a solution. So try to search this forum for "egg shape".

Yes, that post was made by me still with the release of the 1.0.
And yes, this is happening only with new material, if I have an older material in editor, it's look fine, like in the img attached.

Do you always get those? IF you revert to the standard mtl editor (uncheck custom editor in render settings), does the problem goes away?

Yes. I did how you sugested and still the same issue. The corect one it's shows "corect" only if I already have it in material editor , if I pick one material from an object from the scene, it's look the same weirdness. maybe it's a bug or smth..
