Hey guys its Robert from Owlempires.com

I was messing around with Corona and decided to give animations a try.
I ended up rendering at 1280px at low passes being just a test, 150 frames took around 7 hours or so.

Now the bad part, since I used 3D grass patches, I ended up with almost 150 million polygons in the scene, so I assume that is where all the render time went.
Also, in order to get some sort of background movement, I decided to add the HDRI into a huge plane that is behind the scene.

I also tried to make the original HDRI rotate, so I don`t have to add another plane to illustrate the background, but anything I did it kept going in a "easy-in - easy-out" fashion rather than linear.
After looking for it in the chart,or whatever is it called , for hours. I decided to just...go with the plane.

Feel free to share what do you think about it.
More to come,obviously!

You could increase amount of passes and lower GI/AA balance, to get better AA sampling at roughly same rendertime. That would get rid of that noise caused by reflections on the rim. I'd also go easier on the propagation. It get's kinda annoying if you read website name three times in a single text and then also put it in the video itself ;)

It was a test, I didn't care about the passes. GI/AA was low.

About the tags, they are just fine. Not like it was a spam. Basic introduction, website tag,and a watermark on the video.

Thank you

Looks great but there are couple of strange things.

1 - regularity of an asphalt texture, you could try to mix same texture with diferent level of brightness using collorcorect and fractal smoke
2 - Asphalt has too sharp reflections almost like mirror
