its developed for series of this saderat commercials , i will share that for free after the projects is done (as soon as possible)

Awesome, and generous :)
Looking forward to it and good luck with your project(s)

Btw, I couldn't find a buy link or pricing/license info on the GhostTown website..
Also, did you use proxies at all and what were the specs of the machines you
used to render these large scenes?

Ah, appreciate the explanation.
It is helpful it seems but maybe interesting for another project or
somebody else who has time to develop a renderer. :)

Hey people,

any tech-savvy people who heard about Disney's in-house Hyperion renderer
and know more about it?
It mentions basically GI semi-non-biased to get the physical plausible results but supposedly much more
efficient due to their data architecture (things like bundling together rays coming from similar angles):,2817,2471740,00.asp

"Hyperion has been in development since 2011, but draws on multiple research projects on multi-bounce complex global illumination carried out at Disney's Zurich research lab. Animators can now create frames containing highly accurate simulations of 10 billion simultaneous rays of light as Hyperion calculates the illumination, bounce, shadows, and redirection of every single beam—something that would have been computationally impossible before Hyperion. It is able to do this efficiently even within massively complex scenes by using a novel streaming data architecture. "

Isn't this what common renderers like Vray already do or is there more to it
(and if so, could it help Corona, for settings in projects where you're pressed for faster render times)?

Awesome, much appreciated!
Some are a bit inconsistent in saturation etc across the same texture but
can't complain about free and there's plenty to choose from to get around that, thnx!

BTW, and some might have suggested that already,
why don't you offer  a free package and then have the rest available
for a nice price? Something cheap, 10 for $10 or something
(plenty of easy and free/cheap Wordpress or HTML plugins
to offer paid downloads via paypal/cc etc)

Maybe an idea :)

I would go easy on saturation of plant and flowers materials :) In real world, they are a bit less saturated than you expect them to be, so you may want to make them look like plants, not some burning toxic acid :)

LOL, I mostly thing the one standing in the corner is problematic, needs some translucency as well since it looks like an imitation plant now.

Overall looks nice.
Apart from earlier mentioned things, I didn't really find the fish bowl convincing..

Saved to inspiration folder, lovely atmosphere.

Floor I totally agree, nice balance with reflection and (bump)texture. Sometimes it's overdone and doesnt fit the wood or interior styling, but
here it's just right.

Agree on the woman (she's not too small imo, indeed it's more the brightness on the arm-rest side of her body/clothing
that's just a tad too much and not blending in with the overall contrast).
The pillows on the floor have a similar problem, but they look like you rendered it, so I might be off here..

Can you tell/show how you did the flame material in the glasses on the table?

There's something about the textures and lighting that makes it look 90'ish CGI...
You know what I mean?

Great video, nice overal production with the editing and real life footage. :)

1-2 hours per frame on i-7 2600.

Did you set a max samples/frame and how many if you did?

PT+HD Cache or no?

Love this, so much life in this still life :)
Only thing perhaps is the material for the oranges..looks a bit fake but
probably because of SSS not available.

Looks nice, esp. 2nd close up render.

Only thing is the tiles on the terrace have a too low res texture and bump is too high imo.
