I was wondering....does anyone know a workaround to make the wetmap working with Corona?

thanks a lot!

it's been mentioned phoenix foam and splashes will be supported on the next daily build.....I was wondering, when are you planning to release it?

I apologize if this has been already requested.

Kindest regards,

I have realized the white spots only appear when rendering within a region......I think this is something it was already mentioned.

It's shallow water on top of a glass structure.
I know it's a complex scene to calculate. I have tried with just the water, without any glass underneath and the issue stays the same.
It doesn't seem a material/object related issue.

thanks for your interest.

I have also tried to increase the numbe rof photons (from 5000 to 15000), didn't see any improvemnet. :(

Hi all,
I am working on a scene that relies on caustics. I was hoping I could deal with corona caustics without doing major tricks or fake post-production.
The real caustics would come out ok, the issue is the number of white dots defining the caustics themselves.
Please have a look at there any way to improve the quality?
btw....this is a kind of 'noise' that won't go away with any denoise.

Thanks a lot.

Hi all,
hopefully this topic hasn't been already covered.
I know Foam is not currently supported by Corona.....does this apply to Splashes too?
I am trying to work in out, it seems the splashes shader doesn't behave properly though.

Thanks a lot.

kind regards,

I agree.. No one here in the office likes the feeling of that sample.....but the architects are very keen on that! :(

Anyway, we are still trying hard.....we manage to work out the model for the far away shot...but the one for the close up no where near to be found.

Hi all,
my client is asking me to find a way to show some panels (6 meters height) of architectural foam. I attached a photo of the given sample.

I thought the best solution would be to work with Corona Fractals but after a quick research, I fear it might be a quite slow and demanding solution.

I am happy to consider any creative solution.
