Another option is to use parameter wiring. I linked the seed ta a custom slider in my example, but you can wire it to almost anything in Max - height of a cube primitive, movement of teapot, etc. Any parameters that has numeric values can be "wired" together. Don't know how robust this method is, e.g. if you'll make significant changes in your material, the wiring might brake, but it takes only few seconds to rewire everything again.

I would try Light material with cast light turned off, at least that's what i do when i need evenly lit non-shaded material in the scene.

In case the texture is not square, adjust tiling in bitmap accordingly, i.e. if texture is 2048 x 1024 set the U tiling to 1 and V tiling to 2. Scale in triplanar should be set of the longer side then, because its tiling is 1. Hope that makes sense.

Do you mean material libraries? I don't think that Qt will help with that, as slow loading most likely is caused by Corona having to render all the map previews. You can try to improve this by reducing preview rendering quality in system settings, or turn off preview rendering completely in slate editor itself (toggle button in bottom left corner).

Corona triplanar is by definition working in real-world scale. In fact it can't work in any other way. Scale in triplanar is the same as real-world scale in bitmap. Just make sure that your bitmap tiling is set to 1 in U and V or close to that if your texture is not square and control map scale in Corona triplanar. It's even simpler than with Max's real-world scale, since you don't need to bother with UVs and RW checkboxes.

The lack of QA at Autodesk is mind blowing. 2026.3 is probably the worst update ever, zero new features, bunch of new bugs.

I was hoping that if it's not too much work to implement, we could skip all that hassle with the ideas portal and enjoy new feature in the next build :]

I would love if the fabric material could take multimap as input for weft and warp colour and render plaid fabrics that way.

Under stood, but this has to do with V14 also. A lot of times you want to stop the IPR cause you want to make a bunch of changes to materials and don't want it to refresh constantly. But your only option is to close or move region to hit stop button. Many times you still want VFB open for reference. The IPR reaching it limit and stopping isn't actually stopping IPR, cause any new move refreshes IPR. I'll make a topic somewhere else for this, sorry I didn't think I was going outside the preview builds since this was happening in V14 also.

This has nothing to do with preview builds specifically. That behaviour is there from the very beginning, if you want it to be changed, the best place to ask/discuss it is Corona ideas portal https://chaoscorona.ideas.aha.io/ Be sure to do a quick search before submitting your request - i remember there were several discussions about option to explicitly stop IR after it reached stopping condition - someone may already posted request about that on the portal.

Please add more common fabric presets. Trying to figure this new material on one's own is no joke. And i really would appreciate "don't show again" checkbox in warning window that pops out each time when you change a preset - this thing is so damn annoying.
