Hi,

3ds max and c4d user around who anyone help me convert a V-Ray Max material to Corona in Cinema 4D?
The Corona converter isn’t handling it properly, especially with the composite, falloff, and blend maps used in this material.
I’m not a 3ds Max user, so I could really use some support on this.

Not sure what exact shader can be used in C4D, but in Max I would use the Falloff as a mask inside a Mix node.

Hi, has anyone tried using UDIM textures in C4D 2025.3?
I tested it with a bitmap and set the UV tiling mode to UDIM, but it doesn’t seem to work. The side texture, which should appear using the second tile, isn’t showing up.

Hi,

in 3D max falloff have input option but in c4d fresnel don't have input just gradient color and layer also does not work well.
attached screen shot.

What can be the best option for mixing two object/materials with falloff in C4D..?

Hi, Thanks for nice feature in V13.
Noticed Outline Material does not work with Camera "Near Clipping" distance.
No idea if anyone have same issue or not...!
Using 2025.2.1 in Win 11.

Sky through color correct and tonemap...? These are sharers and sky is object, where to place these shaders under sky..?
I am not using any texture or backplate for sky, just simple corona sun and sky using.
Possible to make c4d file... easy to study and understand.

Hi,

Build a scene and one window is only source light inside room with sky and sun light.
Outside is so bright clouds are not seeing... how can I see clouds through the window...?

Windows 125% scaling, at 100% small icons
Tried by setting 100% scaling but same... its misplaced.
Try two different company monitors... maybe u get misplaced.

In R26, 2023, 2024.... all same its misplaced.
I dont think its c4d issue...!

Hi,

it was in v12 and V12 hotfix1 its same... I think ignored or not noticed....!

VFB render and stop button drop down menu are misplaced.
its only on display 2, although both are same size and pixel... just company difference.
Screen shot attached.

And one more when close VFB, it should remember its place (monitor 1 or 2), not on default place if open again vfb.
