This is my last personal project Viničky. It is a simple visualization of the bathroom situated in the interior of small house in wine yards designed by MAPA architects. They are involved in designing this small structure and I borrowed their clean space to experiment a little. I wanted to try some new techniques in this scene which we do not use usually in the studio. Some custom furnishing was added, for example I used lamp designed by Apparatus. Corona Volume material was applied on a soap, containing of two volume shaders and one Corona shader. Also 3d scan was made for the stool. I need to mention there are some materials using assets from Megascans which was new to me. I rendered this scene with Corona and 3dsMax.

Very good indeed. In the last image, where is the blue light coming from?

Thank you. I know, outside light intensity in 3d is stronger than on the background. This could be fixed, but I realized it after delivery of the project. On the other hand reflections of interior in the windows make the outside view little bit more dim. That also is dumping the back-plate presence.

Hi,

this is our last project called Dunaj. It is a small development in Bratislava designed by talented JRKVC studio. Visuals were rendered in 3DsMax with post production done in PS.

Yes, I agree. I liked the silhouette of the BG and I did not have more time resource for any further development of this shots. Anyways, thanks for C&C.

Edit: Maybe I will try to replace it with better image in future.

Hi.
Couple months ago I did this image of stadium. I was testing out HDRS from Jørgen Herland. Architecture is easy and was inspired by stadium by AUER WEBER.

Great light, especialy in the first shot. Really like this. Good work, I really like that you took time to rotate the lamps.

Very nice.

Thank you. Rotated lamps are just a detail which has to be a standard these days, plus it is quite easy to do. More time took me to prepare all the other custom assets. Now it is quite visible that everybody is using same libraries [even I do]. To have your custom assets for the scene consumes lot of time but it adds a lot.

Thank you guys for your opinions. Yes, its a trend and yes I agree that it is little too strong in this visuals. In the first render it looks like there's a huge humidity in the room : ). Lifting shadows can be somehow a cheap trick but I like this outcome the best from other versions I had. Here is a version which I wanted to post in the first place, but I was looking at it far too long and I decided to change it and go with something more soft.

Hi guys,
this is my latest "portfolio" project. This project started as presentation for the potential client but at the end was not used. Anyways I kept working on it since I liked the setup. Also I started to implement Substance painter and MegaScans into my workflow during process which kept me in focus to finish it. Both tools/products are fun to use and now I use them regularly in all my project. I could not decide with what kind of atmosphere/look should I go. At first I saved out  renders with vibrant colors and high local contrast. Since than I changed the whole post process couple of times. I finished with this renders with more subtle and de-sat colors and lifted dark tones. Let me know what do you think, I would appreciate to hear some opinions.

Hey guys,
finally I have some time to post some projects online. This one is recent from this year. I have rendered office spaces for my friends at FHA architects. This space is located in Bratislava and I was commissioned to render and design the office. We kept the design in industrial nature with some lively accents. Project was rendered in max and I used some typical plugins to help me out with the results [itoo, substance mats].

Hi, good work on this one. Especially with people. They really add a lot, especially the chef.
Maybe I missed it but which model bank did you use to pick this entourage ? Or you scanned on your own.

Hi,
I would like to share this small interior project which I finished for CORWIN recently. I was asked to prepare six interior renders of different spaces. Here I picked the some.
Just for info, post was handled in Affinity.  Hope you enjoy.

I would add also some small pieces of bark and wood, just to add more stuff. If you could make it into the tillable plane I would use it pleasure : ). Anyways, looks good.

New update, new stuff. I am still tweaking the rough textures on the model. I think I am on the right track. Still the material does not behave consistently in different light setups. I have to work on that now. I tried to recreate the wet effect using the particle tools from painter but creation of correctly looking water drops with forestpack did not satisfied me since there was no more time for this. Therefor I skipped the effect. I still have to work on seams on the textures plus in interior scene the mask does not look how I want. Also, under i am attaching the Bruce Wayne's changing room : ).

Hah Scandanavian batman... Yah what's up with the obsession/misuse of the Scandinavian moniker recently?

@mferster - I think this is just phenomenon around the Corona : ).

Here goes an update after couple of weeks. I implemented substance to my workflow. Last week I finally got it running between the 3d packages and also in my head : ). I am using Dubcats export profile which helped a lot and solved my headaches in transfer processes. I applied some bump and subtle roughness detail. I think it is still too subtle and bump too obvious. Will do something about it. In next steps I would like to introduce more dirt and get more deeper in substance "noise maker". I am staring to love that tool. In this render is represented 2 layer CoronaLayered shader with substance maps [albedo, roughness and bump], where second layer represent same material just with more rough glossiness map [lazy].

This is how I applied different roughness levels in substance. This layers system seems to work best for me since I was struggling to achieve satisfying result only with one layer and a noise mask. It contains little bit more layers but it is more readable. Nothing complex but good start.
