Randomizing texture offset works, but only on horizontal surfaces - any ideas what to do?

I left instance engine on, added material random in RailClone and used MaterialByElement with CoronaUvwRandomizer - it worked, but only on horizontal surfaces :(
Any idea what could be tweaked to get vertical parts working as well?

Hi. Had the same problem with the hdc-file. It's coming from an old version of Corona, so either this is an old file, or your maxstart file contain it (in my case it was the latter).

The only way I've found to get rid of it, is to switch the renderer to something else (i.e. Scan line), clean the assets, save the file, reopen the file and switch the renderer back to Corona. The render settings will of course change back to default, so write them down before doing this.

Put new names for channels and got proper CXR auto saved. Many thanks for your help.

Heh I actually tried Photoshop but didn't think to rename to EXR, silly me.
Will rename channels on Monday, see how it works.

Is that something I did? But what? I didn’t install anything new lately.
I only plucked out some trees and streetlights and cleaned some diffuses maps :(
On friday morning channels were saved correctly, but today turned as total waste of overnight render (((

Only some masking channels are present - others are seems to be lost in editor?
However file size suggest that information are here with BEAUTY, denoising and bloom and all.

I tried setting up new clean file (dummy test «sphere and sun» render were saved ok) and merge in relevant parts
and xref scenes again, and set up channels and masking, even added shading beauty, but got same problem with invisible/missing channels.

Is it possible to recover info from auto saved cxr file?

Also, you said there is no post-work, does that means that frame is rendered too?!

A bit of experiment - there is no postwork, it's a raw render with corona :) also all textures are mixed right in 3dmax, got to poke at GrowFx a little

Mmm, I kinda think it's a bug because I left my lion thing to be cooked overnight on local machine.

Workflow was like that:
1) model, textures, etc.
2) small sized test render, post tab adjust, Lightmix tab adjust, render saved manually (i.e. I pressed save icon in corona buffer), much love to corona :)
3) the only change at render set up:common was render size to be bigger and render output to be saved by computer (beauty and elements)
4) morning, after way to much coffee - at corona buffer I can see my big overnight render with Lightmix values from small test run applied, but file saved on hard drive was not the one I can see in buffer - so I saved it again from buffer by manually clicking save icon and got right image, exactly as in buffer.

Small animation test over lunch rendered same result: buffer shows Lightmix applied and saving from buffer by hand - gets you right image (as far as i can tell), saving by computer - wrong image. I mean beauty pass.
Or am I just seeing things after long day?

I got bunch of elements saved both ways - will have to compare them later.

Lightmix is incredible thing and I’m totally in love )

The only problem I have is that for final renderings I always rely on render farms or overnight batch processing and while the "Post tab" adjustment do gets implemented from test renders "Lightmix tab" isn't working like that - so far I gathered that for Lightmix adjustment to be saved out in renders you will need to manually save what you see in buffer frame otherwise you will get unadjusted render.

So, did I miss some vital checkbox (like "force previous Lightmix adjustment to saving onwards render results") or is it supposed to be like that (only manual save gets me adjusted render)?

The theoretically possible workarounds with EXRs and Fusion and so and so are just not very practical from deadlines point of view :(

Is it possible?
I have all this render nodes (with FairSaaS license) and i have never used them :(
Or do I need to somehow talk ITdepartment into adding me on the office network? I don't know if this is possible - obviously i know nothing about how this LAN thing works.
